This is one of the Mole Creek Guest House’s big surprise treats – a movie room with large screen format and surround sound in the comfort of a large living room we’ve devoted to wonderful movie watching. What a great way to wind down after ‘The Walls’ or ‘The Falls’ or some of Tassie’s most picturesque days out!


Mole Creek Guest House Gift Shop
Our gift shop has a large range of locally made arts, crafts, souvenirs and gifts. We also have an increasing range of hand-made jams, the most famous being our own Laurel Berry Jam.



Lindum Crafts – Mole Creek’s home grown folk art gift store has taken over the old Coffin Maker’s Shed and is offering a range of French provincial and uniquely Tasmanian gardenware, crafts and furnishings.
A Touch of Craft offers a refreshingly different range of hand-made work, all from the Great Western Tiers area.


Conference Facilities
Our guest rooms, restaurant & movie room provide exclusive space, facilities and comprehensive catering for small conferences and workshops (seating up to 30 people and sleeping up to 14 people).


Gardens & Wildlife
Work is in progress to make the gardens a place where guests can find a comfortable retreat during the days' travels. If you are fortunate, an evening stroll along the creek can sometimes be rewarded by a visit from on of the local platypus. Best time for viewing these wonderful animals is within half an hour before sunset and if you're up early enough, you could be lucky to enjoy the company of the platypus before breakfast.
